The CBB Phone app allows you to share your location and important information only with the other app users in your area. “Your area” would typically mean within a club or specific location.

The CBB Phone app uses the sensors on your phone to determine the phone’s location and speed. It uses this information to broadcast the location and speed of the boat you have selected, to other users of the app in your area. It does not transmit your name or identity, only the name of your selected boat.

Messages and alerts you send from the app will be sent to all app users in your area. Use cases would include to call for assistance from the nearest app user.

On closing the app, data is no longer collected or sent.
